Streamed Broadcast annual awards ceremony celebrating and recognising the biggest names in Rugby and their achievements throughout the year. Our role on the project was managing the live show while feeding into the broadcast show. In 2017, when TBA were first awarded the project, it was held at The Sporting in Monaco, where we had a total of six hours to load in, rig, technically check and rehearse a hard start broadcast show with no margin for error. We used a mixture of local suppliers and UK Show crew, Tech HODs and equipment to deliver the show. We managed to organise a shared pre-rig with the previous days occupants which helped in our short rig time. Based on the performance of 2017, we were able to persuade the value for a full day setup for the following years’ show in Monaco again, so we could level up on scale of production. In 2019, the show was set to be in the Rugby World Cup host nation Japan, scheduled the day after the tournament final. This was the largest of the three shows due to it being a tournament year with a much larger live audience. Another fantastic show delivered with a very happy client!
