The challenge was to create a world class hospitality experience for The FA’s Sponsors, Partners and Guests during all home England Games and the FA Cup Semis and Finals. 1600sqm of space transformed in a 3 day install which would need to be robust enough to go in and out of the space multiple times a year and be built so all parts fit in the one goods lift which services The Great Hall.
Our approach was a radical reinvention of the established hospitality pattern, creating a much more dynamic and informal setting. Guests would be offered a high-end FA experience, formality was replaced with freedom, seated dining with cool cuisine, speeches reinvented into fireside chats and guest appearances into live entertainment. EVS Broadcast equipment was used, taking in multiple television broadcast feeds to create a tailored highlights package and give the fluidity to allow guest celebrities to join the live show if willing. Every aspect of the previous format had been replaced by something progressive and engaging.
The consistency and design of the kit from Wembley allows The FA Lounge to also tour during the season to multiple UK locations, including Anfield and Elland road, for international and FA cup matches.
Importantly, VIP status was retained for sponsors and special guests, with designated space, 1-2-1 hosting and access to exclusive content. More energised. More contemporary. More fun.
